Are MCAS qualifications internationally recognised?
Yes. Our programmes are internationally recognised and designed to meet global aviation education standards. All qualifications are endorsed by OTHM, UK — a globally recognised awarding body.
Are your courses approved locally?
Yes. MCAS offers locally endorsed programmes aligned with recognised educational frameworks in Sri Lanka.
What courses does MCAS offer?
We offer aviation, airline & airport management, cargo & logistics, and postgraduate aviation management programmes from Level 3 to Level 7. Visit our Programmes page for the full list.
Can I study aviation after O/Ls or A/Ls?
Yes. Our Level 3 programmes — the International Diploma in Aviation Fundamentals and the Diploma in Cargo & Logistics — are ideal for school leavers starting their aviation journey after O/Ls.
Do I need prior aviation experience?
No. Most entry-level programmes do not require previous aviation experience. Our Level 3 and Level 4 programmes are designed for complete beginners.
Can I progress to higher qualifications at MCAS?
Yes. Our programmes are structured as academic pathways from diploma to postgraduate level — from Level 3 all the way to Level 7 and onwards to Master's degrees.
What career opportunities can these courses lead to?
Students can pursue careers in airlines, airports, cargo & logistics, aviation operations, customer service, hospitality, management, and much more. Our graduates are placed at Emirates, SriLankan Airlines, Qatar Airways, and more.
Does MCAS provide industry exposure?
Yes. Students gain exposure through workshops, industry visits, guest speaker sessions, and aviation-related events throughout their studies.
Is MCAS suitable for international students?
Yes. We welcome both local and international students. Our community currently includes students from over 15 nationalities across 10+ countries.
